One Another & Each Other

Dear Church Family, Greetings in Jesus' name!

The Body of Christ, the church, is to be a unified whole. If we look solely at this local church, instead of the world-wide church, we find that we are part of one another. There are a good many times in the Bible that the words "one another/each other" are used. In fact, the Bible spends a lot of time on relationships within the community of faith, as opposed to a focus on individual believers. We are going to look at a few of the times that the "one another/each other" instances are found in the Bible.

At the Altars of God

Dear Church Family,

Greetings in Jesus’ name!

I trust you are enjoying your summer and it is my prayer that you find yourself able to relax and be refreshed.

The altar of the Lord has always been a powerful place of divine communion for God’s people. In Genesis 8:20, the first thing Noah did when the waters had receded and he was able to step foot on dry land was build an altar. Elijah built an altar and fire from heaven consumed the sacrifice he had put on it in his confrontation with the prophets of Baal. I could go on, but I trust you get the point.
